The director ofJohn Wick 4Chad Stahelski had different plans for the films. He wanted to shoot two films of the franchise back to back. But suddenly there was a change of plans and he just made one.
According to the director, he didn’t want to get stressed about making two movies simultaneously like other franchises. Stahelski wanted to be fair to his audience in terms of creativity and creating a good film. As of now, there is no mention of another sequel, and details aren’t disclosed either.

But Lionsgate has shared a few words about Keanu Reeves’s return to the franchise.
“We’re not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise. It’s what alternative there will be… there’s a lot of different things that we can do [to incorporate Reeves into additional John Wick installments].”
Look like even Lionsgate wishes the same for Reeves’ to return just like fans do. Even the director hasn’t given up on making moreJohn Wickfilms, so fans can expect more sequels in the future.

In many past interviews,The Matrixactor has expressed his love for the franchise and how much he enjoys playing the titular character. Many fans have also asked him if he feels old yet playing this character. But the 58-year-old mentioned that he didn’t feel like aging out untilJohn Wick 4.
As the fourth installment made him feel his age, he is thankful that all these sequels made him more experienced in doing action work. After the recent release of Chapter 4,Keanu Reeveshoped for the audience to like it, so they can think about the potential next film of the franchise.
“You have to see how the audience responds to what we did. The only reason we’ve had a chance to make these movies is that people have liked what we have done. So I think we have to wait and see how the audience responds to it. Hopefully, they’ll like it.”
