Ever since Apple unveiled its tiny, travel-friendlyMagSafe Duowireless charger, it’s been a waiting game for the accessory to actually launch. But the wait is finally over.
On Tuesday, Apple officially launched theMagSafe Duowireless charger in its online storefront in the United States. It’s priced at $129.00, or you can pay $10.75 per month for 12 months with special financing through theApple Card.
The MagSafe Duo wireless charger is certainly not the cancelled AirPower wireless charger. However, for anyone who is looking for a small wireless charger that’s easy to take on a trip, this could be a solid option. It’s worth noting, though, that the wireless charger is light in construction, and the powerful MagSafe magnets that make for a proper wireless charging connection mean the MagSafe Duo can be lifted off the flat surface when you attempt to disconnect youriPhone 12.

The MagSafe Duo Charger conveniently charges your compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, Wireless Charging Case for AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices. Another note: the MagSafe Duo wireless charger supports wireless charging up to 14W. However, you’ll need to connect the wireless charger to a 27W or higher USB-C Power Adapter to reach that. Of course, that charging brick is sold separately. you may reach 11W wireless charging if you use a 20W USB-C Power Adapter.
The MagSafe Duo wireless charger is obviously another accessory outfitted withMagSafe, but the wireless charging accessory will work with devices that don’t rely on MagSafe, too. The list of compatible devices is just below.
