Where to find all of the headphones in Citadelle des Morts
Citadelle des Morts has a total of four unique melee wonder weapons (they’re all swords of different elements, but still) that you’re able to craft by completing various quests around the map.
Find a Stamp
Once you’ve turned on the Pack-a-Punch, you’ll have a random chance of spawning ahelmet-wearing zombie, which drops aStampitem upon death (aim for the body, as the helmet blocks all damage).
Pick up the Stamp (more helmet zombies will spawn later), then head to theDining Hall. There are fourknight statueson the first floor, each with a different animal featured in their design that signifies a different element and sword:
Choose a knight, and interact with them to use your stamp, causing the statue to offer theirBastard Swordto you. This is the base sword for the upgraded melee Wonder Weapon, and each one has a unique quest to upgrade it.
Each stamp can be used once per knight, andeach sword can be storedin the hands of their respective knight at any time. The order you unlock the four swords does not matter.
Upgrade the Caliburn
To craftCaliburn, go to the top of the stairs inside theentrance hallwith the dragon knight’s Bastard Sword equipped and interact with thedragon statue.This will insert the sword, and light upthree points on the mapengraved above the dragon’s head.
You’ll need to find and interact with thefire cauldronat each of these spots on the map (see photos above), then carry the flame back to the dragon statueas fast as possible(the flame slowly deals damage as you run). We recommend havingStamin-UpandJuggernogequipped before attempting this, and considering having a friend on standby with a healing Field Upgrade.
Onceall three flamesare returned to the statue, it will spew fire onto the sword, transforming it intoCaliburnand allowing you to retrieve it.
Upgrade the Durendal
To upgrade the stag knight’s sword into theDurendal, you’ll need grab his Bastard sword and then find thethree lightning rodsscattered across the map:
Once you have all three rods, equip the stag knight’s Bastard Sword and go to theHillside Ramparts. Interact with themetal vaseto insert the lightning rods, which triggers a small storm in which enemies spawn. Getkills with the Bastard Swordto charge it, and once it’s charged,hit thevasewith it. Do thisthree times(until the storm stops), then insert the sword into the vase to transform it intoDurendal.
Upgrade the Balmung
To craft the raven knight’s Balmung sword, retrieve his Bastard sword and head behind him into theAlchemical Lab. On thedesk(near the globe) in the center of the room, there will be anAntiquityitem sitting on the desk. Interact to grab it, then head to thebasement of the Tavernnear spawn.
In the basement, look at the circular mechanism on the wall and interact with it to insert the sword and antiquity into it. Each antiquity has a random character from thezodiacwhich corresponds to the character’s sign/symbol on the outer ring (ours was a scorpion, for the Scorpio). Align the rings along the bottom, so thatthe > symbol is pointing downwardsand away from the center, facing the respectivezodiac symbol on the very bottom(this may require some internet searching).
Once the proper combo is entered, the mechanism will glow and begin to dispense floating orbs that follow you.Lead the orbsto thepurple portalsthat open on the ground, and follow the portals as they move up into the upper Tavern. Once all the portals have been filled, the purple light will move back to the mechanism and craft theBalmungfor you.
Upgrade the Solais
The lion knight’s sword, the Solais, needs to be equipped at all times to upgrade it. Immediately upon grabbing it,glowing yellow parasiteswill begin to spawn. Before killing any, head to theUpper Villageand find thedoor with the Lion’s head knockerunderneath the overpass.
Now,kill one glowing parasiteto charge up your sword, thenhit your sword on the doorto embue it with a light symbol. Repeat thisthreemore times (foursymbols total), then interact with the door to enter the upgrade chamber (make sure you have ammo).
Once inside, head down the hallway to the sword holder and interact with it.Four yellow symbolswill float out of it, which must beshot in the correct order. Look at thestoneholding the sword to see which symbol to shoot (the glowing one). Once all four are shot in the correct order, the sword will be upgraded into Solais.
