Bryan “Brain” Mantia has confirmed that he is developing an experimental, unique soundtrack forCyberpunk 2077in collaboration with Melissa Reese.
“I’m also working on the soundtrack for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game… This project in particular has been a little challenging because the developers are looking for music that has never been heard before if that makes any sense… They are looking for music that would be made in the year 2077… I’m into it because I really love “white noise” and I figure that’s where music is gonna be in 60 years from now (lol)… Basically every frequency within the range of human hearing (20 hertz to 20 kHz)… Anyways, i’m really diggin' the experimentation on this project”

Cyberpunk 2077 will feature experimental music by Bryan Mantia and Melissa Reese.
Some of you may be more familiar with Melissa Reese and Bryan Mantia from their days as members ofGuns N' Roses(No? Just me? Well, alright then) but they have also produced some awesome game soundtracks for Infamous,Bloodborneand Mortal Kombat, so we could be in for a treat whenCyberpunk 2077is finally released.
Cyberpunk 2077may not be on everyone’s radar yet but it really should be. A futuristic cyberpunk RPG by the masters of storytelling,CD Projekt Red? That’s music to my ears!

CD Projekt Redhas been keeping their cards close to their chest regardingCyberpunk 2077. They reactivated the Twitter account for the game earlier this month…only to post “beep”. Here’s hoping that they’re able to reveal a bit more than that about their upcoming game when it’s time for E3 this year. As a huge fan ofThe Witcherseries, I’ll be keeping a close eye on how this one pans out, so stay tuned for more news as it develops.
CanCD Projekt Redfind the same level of success with this game as they did withThe Witchergames? Here’s hoping!
