Coming to The Roku Channel in November, the bizarre biopic featureHarry PotteractorDaniel Radcliffein the role of the most famous song parodist of all time. Eric Appel directed the film and wrote the screenplay with “Weird Al” Yankovic. Funny Or Die and Tango produced the biopic, which is far from your typical movie about a famous musician. Yankovic produces with Funny Or Die’s Mike Farah, Joe Farrell, and Whitney Hodack alongside Tango’s Tim Headington, Lia Buman, and Max Silva. Appel, Funny Or Die’s Henry Muñoz III, and Tango’s Neil Shah executive produce.

Daniel Radcliffe is “Weird” Al Yankovic in the unexaggerated true story about the greatest musician of our time. Daniel Radcliffe Plays a Young Al Yankovic
The movie was first conceived as a parody trailer released by Funny Or Die on YouTube. That original version featuredBreaking Badstar Aaron Paul in the role of “Weird Al.” When the film was announced at Roku, Yankovic commented on the casting and joked that this will become the role Daniel Radcliffe is best known for.
“When my last movieUHFcame out in 1989, I made a solemn vow to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork," Yankovic said. “I’m very happy to say we’re on schedule. And I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film. I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for.”
