The franchise’s foundation is built on exploration and the freedom to play the game in the ways that suit players best, making use ofclasses, attributes, skillsandabilitiesto interact with the world. Improvements to the game engine andcharacter customizationoptions gives players an opportunity to immerse themselves in deep roleplay while they experience a layered and dark story.

The game is typically in an alpha/beta like state, and usually incomplete but players are able to play the earlier parts of the content as well as any new updates and have the opportunity to offer feedback and bug reporting to assist in a smoother finished product.
