Netflix has announced that Bill Burr’sF is for Familyhas been renewed for season 5. It will, however, be its final season on the streaming platform. As of right now, season 5 is in the pre-production process, with new episodes expected to premiere in 2021. The renewal news comes less than four months after the release of Season 4, which premiered on the streaming platform back in June. Netflix did not provide a reasoning behind their decision to end the fan-favorite series.

F Is for Familyisinspired by Bill Burr’s childhoodand it’s set in the fictional town of Rustvale, Pennsylvania in the early-mid 1970s. Burr voices Frank Murphy and is joined by Laura Dern (Big Little Lies), Justin Long (New Girl), Sam Rockwell, Haley Reinhart (American Idol), Mo Collins (MADtv), and Jonathan Banks (Better Call Saul). Vince Vaughn is on board as an executive producer on the animated series. For now, it’s unclear whenF Is for Familywill be back with season 5.
