Square Enix have announced that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been delayed until April 10th.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Delayed to April

Originally set to launch on March 3rd, Final Fantasy VII fans will have to wait a little longer as the launch date has moved now toApril 10th.In astatementfrom Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase and team, they express why it has been delayed for another month. Kitase shared it was to give them some time to polish up the game before it is released, giving players the best experience possible. He also apologised for making fans wait but assures it will be “just a little bit longer”.

We know that so many of you are looking forward to the release of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and have been waiting patiently to experience what we have been working on. to ensure we deliver a game that is in-line with our vision, and the quality that our fans who have been waiting for deserve, we have decided to move the release date to July 24, 2025.

We are making this tough decision in order to give ourselves a few extra weeks to apply final polish to the game and to deliver you with the best possible experience. I, on behalf of the whole team, want to apologize to everyone, as I know this means waiting for the game just a little bit longer.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is the highly anticipated title from Square Enix, first being announced at E3 2015. It’s been quite the wait for the title but we’ll just have to hold on a bit longer before the final release of the game.
