Production is under way in New York City on directorZach Braff’scomedyremakeGoing in Style. The first photo from the set has emerged, featuring starsMorgan Freeman,Michael CaineandAlan Arkin, and the director also shared a photo of himself alongside these cast members on hisTwitterpage. The set photo features these three stars heading out for a jog in the Big Apple.

Going in Stylecenters on a trio of senior citizens who grow bored of retirement. They all hatch a plan to rob a bank and take their winnings to Las Vegas, in an effort to spice up their lives. The originalGoing in Stylehit theaters in 1979, starring George Burns, Art Carney and Lee Strasberg. The remake’s supporting cast includesJoey Kingand Katlyn Carlson in unspecified roles.

TheGoing in Styleremake has been in the works for quite some time, withDon Scardino(The Incredible Burt Wonderstone) initially attached to direct back in 2013.Theodore Melfi(St. Vincent) wrote the screenplay and is set to produce with Donald De Line (Pain & Gain) and Tony Bill, who produced the originalGoing in Style. It isn’t known how long production is slated to last on thismovie remake.

Going in StylemarksZach Braff’s third time at the helm, following his 2004 directorial debutGarden Stateand last year’sWish I Was Here. This project also marks his third collaboration with actressJoey King, who starred alongside the actor/filmmaker inOz: The Great and PowerfulandWish I Was Here, whereZach Braffplayed her father. It isn’t known if the director will also have a role in front of the camera for this project as well.
