There’s an issue inSchedule 1where items disappear seemingly at random. Then, there’s another issue where a handler you hire can end up stealing your items, then just leaving and refusing to work, which feels more personal. Unfortunately, one solid option for solving other issues doesn’t work here, and it instead makes youlose the items that the handler stole permanently.

How to Hire and Manage Employees in Schedule 1

Employees are necessary for growing your business.

However, that doesn’t mean you may’t solve the issue at all. Instead, it’s not too hard to handle a stealing handler, and depending on the method you choose to address the problem, it can be fun to get your items back.

Resolving a Handler Stealing Items

Using Force

If you have a handler stealing items instead of working properly, don’t log out and log back in. In this case, it causes you to lose the items that the handler stole without a way to get them back. There are some other options you can use to solve the problem, and you might end up going through multiple solutions if your handler keeps glitching and stealing items.

First, you canuse a melee weapon and beat the handler, then take the items from them while they’re unconscious. It’s possible that an item in their inventory will appear as locked, leaving you unable to take it back. This also appears to be part of the same glitch. Funnily enough, being beaten somehow resets the handler, and they end up doing their job again afterward without the same issue.

Firing Them

Second, you canspeak with the handler and fire them, confirming that you want to end their services. Then, go to the warehouse and hire a new handler, which basically resets them, allowing them to properly work their role without stealing.

The third and final option for the moment isgoing through the handler’s assigned routes, removing them, and then reassigning the routesseems to reset the handler, which triggers them to return to their job and stop stealing items. Sometimes, you’ll find that the routes have an assigned destination or station that is placed in a way that makes the handler glitch out, especially when those objects are crowded or too close to walls. So, it’s worth checking your layout to see if that could make the handler stop working. With that, you should have your handler working again in Schedule 1.
