The Rhythm that Leads to the Gloomy Path is a Sumeru World Quest that’s part of theAranyaka: Part II - Dream NurseryWorld Questline. One of the main objectives of this quest is to get rid of the Withering inside the Gloomy Path in the woods. You can begin this part afterobserving the Sumeru Roses to find the hidden song.
How to find Dendrograna & get rid of the Withering in The Rhythm that Leads to the Gloomy Path Sumeru World Quest in Genshin Impact
Follow the green traces or the quest marker to the woods, and then use theVintage Lyrein front of the hollow tree to play the Rhythm of the Gloomy Path:mi > re > mi > re > la. The hollow tree will turn into a portal—enter it to find a Withering Zone.
Start by getting rid of all the enemies and activating the Cradles of Life to prevent being overpowered by Decay. Next, head to the very back of the cavern to find a hollow tree trunk. Like before, use theVintage Lyrein front of the hollow tree to play the Rhythm of the Gloomy Path:mi > re > mi > re > la. This will open up a portal leading to another cave.

Use the Four-Leaf Sigil to propel to the rock with an up arrow sign. Then glide down to the down arrow sign. Some fungi will spawn—defeatthem to activate the Auspicious Branch containingDendrograna. Summon Dendrograna, then use the Four-Leaf Sigil to go through the hollow tree and back to the Withering Zone.
Now equipped with Dendrograna, shoot the three Withering Branches to summon Marana’s Disciple, as well as other fungi around the Tumor. Defeat all the enemies and interact with the Tumor of the Withering to destroy it. You’ll receive an Exquisite Chest reward.
