A new World of Warcraft content patch, a new way for crafters to make mad bank by creating endgame gear. Here’s how to get therequired material for high-end loot this time around, Sparks of Dreams.
World of Warcraft: How to Get Sparks of Dreams in 10.2
You’ll earn half of one Spark of Dreams (in the form of a Splintered Spark of Dreams) each week from the questA Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens, obtained from Keeper Amyrmn in the Central Encampment. A second Splinter can be found right away from the one-time quest Dreams Unified, handed out by Lady Moonberry nearby.
First, you’ll need access to the Emerald Dream. If you’re lost or unsure how to access the new content, check out ourEmerald Dream starter guide. Once there, complete campaign quests until you’ve made your way to the Central Encampment. There, you’ll findLady Moonberry[50, 63], who will give you the questDreams Unified.
This quest asks you to find oneSplintered Spark of Dreamsin exchange for another, meaning you’ll get two for the price of one. To get a Splinter, you’ll need to complete theWorthy Allyweekly quest, available fromKeeper Amyrmn[50, 61]. Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens isn’t available until you’ve completed the campaign quest “Home in a Dream.”
The Worthy Ally weekly quest, which tasks you with earning Dream Wardens reputation, is the path to getting Splintered Sparks of Dreams going forward (until a catchup mechanic is introduced, much like it was further into 10.1).
So, in short, you’ll need to progress the Guardians of the Dream campaign until you’ve gained access to the Worthy Ally weekly quest in the Central Encampment, from which you’ll get 1/2 of a Spark of Dreams each week. Your first Spark, however, you’ll get for a single Splinter, through the quest Dreams Unified.
