How to Find the Star Eagle Ship in Starfield
Not all ships are made from the same cloth and it’s not surprising that the best of them tend to cost hundreds of thousands of credits. Which is why theStar Eagleis a ship that’s worth the effort to get. And getting it is extremely easy.
To get theStar Eagle ship for yourself in Starfield, all you need to do is complete theFreestar Collective faction quest.
The quest is called “Empty Nest” and will take you all the way toAkila City. It is given by the NPCSam Coe,who can be found at theindoor greenhouse at the lodge. Once the quest starts, you’ll need to do the following additional quests:
To start this quest, you’ll need to complete one of the early main missions withThe Constellation. This will lead you to Akila City with Sam Coe. Once you’ve completed Sam Coe’s negotiation with Gal Bank, you can then speak toEmmain The Rock, which is the Freestar Collective faction bar and headquarters located in the middle of Akila City.
Tell her you want to join theFreestar Rangers, and you’ll then kick off a series of missions which will eventually culminate in receiving theStar Eagle. And while you’ll have to make somepretty significant decisions(spoilers if you click this link), it’s absolutely worth it.
If you’ve already completed theFreestar Collective faction questand don’t know how to access the Star Eagle, head to thelocal Spaceport Technicianand ask them to examine your ships. You can then make the Star Eagleyour home ship and it will appear in the spaceport automatically.
In Akila City, the space technician is in the small hut just outside of the city limits.
TheStar Eagle shipis one of the best ships in the game. It has a massive shield pool, fearsome missiles, and it’s fantastic for resource gathering with acargo limit of 2280. And up to five people can be within it at any given time.
That means you can havesome of the best, most effective companions on your ship,which will give you the skill boost you need to make up for Star Eagle’smiddling EM weapon system.
