Fortnite has introduced many rewards for their Fortnitemares 2023, and they’re free for everyone. To get these quest rewards, you need to make sure to beat the quests given to you. You can also get free rewards by completing Horde Rush challenges. Below, we’ll go into detail.
Fortnite – Ways to unlock Fortnitemare 2023 rewards
Starting with the Horde Rush Challenges,The Murk Wrapis rewarded on your first completion of a Horde Rush Quest. Four completions give you a Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon, and seven completions earn you theBatwing Bonespike Pickaxe. Any more completions will not reward free items, so we recommend going to quests next.
You will also get rewards for regular quests. To find your quests, launch Fortnite and click on theQueststab, and from the left-side menu, selectFortnitemaresorHorde Rushto find Fortnitemares 2023 quests.

You’ll need to complete a certain amount of quests to get rewards, which we will detail. If you complete five Fortnitemares quests, you get:

These are all of the items you may receive for free during the Fortnitemares event. This special event is the only time you can unlock these free rewards.
Many people expected skins to also be on this list, but unfortunately, skins will not be free. You’ll have to pay for skins in the Item Shop, usually in bundles. More free items may be released during the month of October, but we do not expect that. The initial release of free items is usually all that players get.
