Pokémon Violet and Scarlet will be the latest entries in the Pokémon series, following the mainline Pokémon Sword and Shield as well as the remakes Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. With a new entry, there will always be speculations and questions, and a burning one that fans are asking is, will there be a new Eevee evolution inPokémon Violet and Scarlet?

According to the well-known Pokémon leakerCentro LEAKS, there willnot be a new Eevee evolutionin Pokémon Violet and Scarlet. This will be the third generation since Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémon and features evolutions that all have unique typings, abilities, and stats. But this is according to leaked information, which may not be true.

If the leaks are true, Pokémon fans will be disappointed as Eeveelutions are one of the things fans look forward to in a new generation. Speculations as to what types and their appearance are almost always present when discussing new evolutions for Eevee. Some popular types fans want an Eeveelution for are poison, steel, bug, and fighting to name just a few.
With allleaks, this must be taken with agrain of saltas it is not a definite answer. It is possible that it could be false, or an Eeveelution could be added later on. Still, if a new Eevee evolution is added, it would bring the evolutions up to nine and sit beside Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.
