If there’s one thing that Ubisoft does well with their multitude of franchises, it’s creating dense environments filled with exploration. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is no different, as the vast world the studio has created is ripe for adventure. Whether it’s the various unique enemies you’ll come across on your adventures or investigating reported Yokai in the area, there feels like an overwhelming amount of content to dig your teeth into.
One such activity is participating in the numerous temples and shrines. Japan is a country of tradition and religion, at least back in the 1500s when Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place. If you’ve ever been to the country, you’ll know that the number of temples and shrines feels infinite, and in Shadows, it’s well represented with some of the most iconic structures in the Kansai region.

Purpose of Temples & Shrines
With each of the temples and shrines, there will either be lost pages that need collecting or shrines that need to be prayed to. Doing so will unlock a good amount of EXP along with a Knowledge point that can be used to upgrade Nao and Yasuke. Some of these locations have surprisingly well-hidden collectibles, but with this guide you’ll have no problem finding them.
The Isakiji Temple is found in the Omi region of Japan. It is located in the eastern region, alongside the lake.

Lost Page Locations
Lost Page #1
The beautiful and serene Isakiji Temple is located on the east side of the lake in the Omi region, and it sits just along the coast. Because of how small the temple actually is, it only has two Lost Pages to speak of, and given its size, you’d expect the two to be in fair proximity to one another. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Isakiji Temple is broken into three sections: the entrance, main building and back. The first Lost Page is found in the middle section right next to the main building. The building directly across from the main structure will be where you’ll want to look, as the Lost Page is located on the rooftop sitting on the ledge.
Lost Page #2
The second Lost Page actually took us a little longer to find, only because we fully expected it to be on one of the roofs found in Isakiji Temple. Instead, where you’ll want to go is to the very back section of the temple. From here, you will find it on the ground level, next to the furthest building, right next to a rather large tree. It is sitting on the mossy rock next to it, overlooking the beautiful lake. It’s not quite on the edge of the lake as that’s where the house is, but it’s along the path to the waterfront and building.
