Monster Hunter Wilds' Latest Update Causes Players To Crash After Fainting

Capcom has acknowledged this major issue and confirmed that a new patch is in development, which will be released as soon as it’s complete.

Players have reported issues whenever their character fainted and returned to camp during Fast Travel, which is something that happens like 90% of the time if you’re fighting against Tempered monsters and other endgame bosses.

Capcomnoted, “We have confirmed that the game may crash when you faint and return to camp during Fast Travel or a quest under certain conditions. Once the update is available, online sessions will be discontinued, and you will need to update to the latest version to continue playing online.”

There’s no timetable for when this new update will be released, but if you factor in console certification, there is a chance it could be pushed out in a day or two, unless Capcom decides to delay it for further testing.
