Collecting the various plants and nature inMonster Hunter Wildsis something players will be doing on a regular basis, as there’s an urge to just pick up everything they pass by. But some of the items are more important than others, while others are rarer. While the Mandragora falls more in line with both of these categories, they are somewhat difficult to come by but serve a significant purpose when you dive into the crafting aspect of Wilds.

What is a Mandragora?
The Mandragora mushroom is a fairly scarce item found throughout the world of Monster Hunter Wilds. They are meant to be a crafting item for some of the more important healing and curing items that you’ll want in your loadout.
By far, the most useful aspect of the Mandragora is mixing it with a Catalyst. When you do this, you will get aMax Potion, something very common within the Monster Hunter universe. This essentially acts as a standard Potion, but is something you use and immediately gain full health. The other use for the Mandragora is creating anImmunizer, which increases the speed at which you recover HP, something that’s very useful when taking a big hit.
Where to Find Mandragora
Scarlet Forest
The Mandragora can be found in quite a few locations throughout Monster Hunter Wilds, but if there’s one place you want to look, it’s Scarlet Forest. The Mandragora is located all throughout this densely packed wilderness, and the first place you can find it is inarea 2. There’s quite a bit of other mushrooms and toads you can get here, but packed in are a couple of Mandragoras. The next place you’ll want to look is directly north, in betweenareas 2 and 6for a single instance of the mushroom. You’ll then want to head all the way east intozone 7,where another singular Mandragora is surrounded byParashrooms. Finally, up in the trees you can find the last Mandragoraabovezone 7.
Windward Plains
The Mandragora is mainly found in the Scarlet Forest, but there are a couple of locations you can find it outside of this. For starters, the Mandragora is located in a bevy of other mushrooms and bugs justsouth of area 3. This is found in the intricate cave system, so it can be a bit of a pain to get to and collect, but it is there if you desperately need them.
Iceshard Cliff
The next location you’ll want to look for a Mandragora is in the Iceshard Cliffs. Similar to the Windward Plains, there’s only one Mandragora to be found. This is located on the second basement level of the area. After jumping down immediately from the main camp, head all the way west andnorth past zone 18. When you reach a more open room, look all the way to the west to find this lone mushroom.
Ruins of Wyveria
The final location of the Mandragora, there are actually two instances of it found here. On the second-lowest floor, which can be a bit of a mess navigating, one can be found all the way west in some caves inzone 8. The other is located on the opposite side of the floor inzone 11,where it’s just as you enter the area.
