Discord is helping to bridge the gap between PC andXbox Oneusers, by letting Xbox Live users link their account to theirDiscordand be able to see PC users in the same Discord server.

Microsoft Support for Discord Connectivity Between Xbox One and PC

Microsoftare partnering up withDiscordto provide a way forXbox Oneusers to link their Live accounts to Discord, meaning users across platforms can see what each other are playing and make it easier to join a friend for a game.

Microsoft have shared inXbox Wire postthis latest addition will be arriving “in the coming weeks” for all users and those who are a part of the Xbox Insider program will be able to access it “soon”. To access this feature you will need to link your Xbox Live account with your Discord profile on Xbox One, just as you would a social media account such as Facebook or Twitter. For PC users, adding the Xbox Live account under the “Connections” section of the Discord settings on the desktop app or on the browser version of Discord.

So far there is no news on actually communication functions for Discord on Xbox One, but this new feature is one step further to bringing PC and Xbox One gamers together through one of the most used communication apps.
