If there’s one thing that Ubisoft does well with their multitude of franchises, it’s creating dense environments filled with exploration. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is no different, as the vast world the studio has created is ripe for adventure. Whether it’s the various unique enemies you’ll come across on your adventures or investigating reported Yokai in the area, there feels like an overwhelming amount of content to dig your teeth into.

One such activity is participating in the numerous temples and shrines. Japan is a country of tradition and religion, at least back in the 1500s when Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place. If you’ve ever been to the country, you’ll know that the number of temples and shrines feels infinite, and in Shadows, it’s well represented with some of the most iconic structures in the Kansai region.

Part of the Izumi Settsu region, find all Lost Pages in Assassin’s Creed Shadow’s Gansenji Temple.

Purpose of Temples & Shrines

With each of the temples and shrines, there will either be lost pages that need collecting or shrines that need to be prayed to. Doing so will unlock a good amount of EXP along with a Knowledge point that can be used to upgrade Nao and Yasuke. Some of these locations have surprisingly well-hidden collectibles, but with this guide you’ll have no problem finding them.

The Miidera is found in the Omi region of Japan. It is located near the entrance to the Yamashiro region, on the western side of the lake.

Lost Page Locations

Lost Page #1

One of the first temples you’ll likely run across in the Omi region, Miidera doesn’t actually come with a temple or shrine name. Instead, it’s simply called Miidera, and it’s deceptively large. It has multiple tall buildings and a handful of sections. It’s quite a beautiful temple where three Lost Pages can be found. The first is fairly easy and predictable if you’ve been reading our temple and shrine guides. The first you’ll be able to find is directly to the right of entering Miidera. From here, climb the massive four-story build to find the Lost Page at the top. This is where the Miidera icon is located on the map.

Lost Page #2

The second Lost Page is found fairly close to the first one. From the first Lost Page, head south until you reach the large building next to the temizuya/chozuya (where you purify yourself with water). Climb up to find a small plank with white paint scattered on it (something I’m sure we’re all very much used to at this point) to find the second of three Lost Pages.

Lost Page #3

While the first two Lost Pages can be found in great proximity to one another, the final one is essentially across the map in the temple. In fact, while the two are found essentially at the entrance of the Miidera Temple, this one is found at the very back. Head all the way northwest of where you enter to find the main building, and behind it will be a serene pond. At the very back on some mossy rocks will be the third and final Lost Page of the temple.
