Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion has now reached over four million units sold.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion Tops 4 Million in Units Sold
The latest expansion for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak has now topped over 4 million units sold in both physical and digital sales. Capcom announced earlier this monthSunbreak had reached over 3 million units sold.
The expansion was released on June 30th, adding a number of hours of content. We spent over 200 hours reviewing the gameplay in ourMHR Sunbreak review. The new expansion adds a host of new content including follower quests, new Switch skills and much more.

Just this month the title received itsfirst updatewhich added further months to hunt including the SeethingBazelgeuse, Silver Rathalose, Gold Rathian and Lucent Nargacuga. A location is introduced as well as new Event Quests. But Capcom won’t be slowing down with further additions as two more title updates are slated for this year, one being in late September adding further rare species. The last one of the year will release this Winter adding several new monsters as well as powered-up monsters, with more updates coming in 2023.
