The Hunting Horn is a giant instrument that deals with blunt damage but works differently than other weapons byproducing notes with each attack. The notes played are collected on the note chart meter below the Sharpness meter. The following are controls for the Hunting Horn:

Songs for each of the Hunting Horns are located in the upper right corner.Attacking in the correct order will fill the note chart and hitting the Perform buttonwill play a song that provides buff to yourself and other hunters.

It can be followed up with anEncore or Performance Beatfor additional support. The Encore can increase the buffs provided by the last song, while the Performance Beat gives increased damage to the notes of the next song.

TheEcho Bubblemove is a special attack that surrounds the player with bubbles, which gives buffs to other hunters and damage to monsters nearby. Attacking within the bubbles will deal additional damage with the bubbles.

The final move is theFocus Strike: Reverb, which is activated by the combo prompt on a monster’s red wound. The character will play a quick melody where players can input five notes during the attack. Timing all five notes to the beat will deal an extra attack at the end.
