Nickelodeon is ready to return to the sea for their familiar baby shark! The hit preschool seriesBaby Shark’s Big Show!has been renewed for a third season! The renewal is also going to coincide with a release of a brand-new music album which brings the familiar Pinkfong tunes to families worldwide. Check out the album art below!
The new season ofBaby Shark’s Big Show!follows the titular Baby Shark as he, his friends, and family get into all sorts of undersea adventures in their home of Carnivore Cove. The show stars Kimiko Glenn as Baby Shark, Luke Youngblood as William, Natasha Rothwell as Mommy Shark, Eric Edelstein as Daddy Shark, Debra Wilson as Grandma Shark, and Patrick Warburton as Grandpa Shark.
Along with the new season, the album “Baby Shark’s Big Show! Fin-Shaking Dance Songs” will be available on June 16th for kids and grown-ups alike. The album will be available on all major music streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Youtube Music and more. The track list can be viewed below.
The Little Shark With A Big Voice
Baby Shark wasn’t always this huge! The series started off from a viral video in 2015, where the company Pinkfong released their own cover of the Baby Shark campfire song. Young performers danced and sang in front of the cartoon shark family to the catchy tune. The video took off like crazy, becoming the first ever video on Youtube to hit 10 billion views, much to the joy (or misery) of parents worldwide. After the success of the song,Nickelodeon and Pinkfong partnered upto turn the shark family into a franchise. In 2019, the series was announced, and in 2020 Baby Shark jumped into homes worldwide!
The success of Baby Shark’s Big Show inspired Nickelodeon and Pinkfong to makeBaby Shark’s Big Movie!which is set to premiere this year. The movie followed Baby Shark and his family as they move out of Carnivore Cove and into Chomp City, the big city for sharks. When an evil pop singing starfish tries to steal Baby Shark’s gift of song, it’s up to Baby and his family to save the day! Along with the returning cast,Baby Shark’s Big Movie!will feature a star-studded cast of guest voices such as Ashley Tisdale, Aparna Nancherla, Ego Nwodim, Chloe Fineman, ENHYPEN, Lance Bass, as well as Cardi B!Baby Shark’s Big Movie!is set to premiere on Paramount+ this holiday season. Meanwhile, the new season will consist of 18 half-hour episodes and four hour-long musical specials. A release date for the new season has yet to be announced.
