2024 has been filled with major games launching exclusively in early access. Titles likePath of Exile 2andHades 2have garnered the most attention, but we must also rememberNo Rest for the Wicked,the action title from the creators of Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Moon Studios releasedNo Rest for the Wickedin early access in April 2024. While the game has received updates, very little has been shared in recent months about its future plans.

No Rest For The Wicked Reappears, Promising New Updates

Given the game’s remarkable quality, many expect its official release date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to be announced in 2025. However, nothing had been mentioned… until now. Moon Studios has spoken up.

The game’s official account on X/Twitter shared a statement thanking fans for their support and promising more details about No Rest for the Wicked in January 2025.

When WillNo Rest for the WickedBe Released?

Early access games don’t usually generate as much buzz as a full version 1.0 release (though early access is becoming increasingly common). For this reason, many players drawn to No Rest for the Wicked are eagerly awaiting news.

The soulslike identity ofNo Rest for the Wickedis prominent, but it doesn’t feel frustrating. The level design is excellent, with an isometric perspective that strongly encourages exploration, and the visuals are stunningly beautiful.
