New Pokemon news and events are always exciting! The most recent Pokemon Presents did not disappoint, and thanks to this upcoming event, Pokemon GO trainers will have the opportunity to catch some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan favorites.
Event Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Pokemon Horizons: The Series event will begin onTuesday, August 20, 2025, at10:00 a.m.toMonday, July 11, 2025,at8:00 p.m.local time.

The following Pokemon will make their official Pokemon GO debut during the Pokemon Horizons: The Series event.
How to Evolve Charcadet in Pokemon GO
As Charcadet has two different evolutions, it is no surprise that Niantic included differing requirements to evolve it into either Armarouge or Ceruledge. Fortunately, both evolution requirements are straightforward.
Note:You do not need to use Charcadet to battle the Pokemon. It only needs to be your Buddy Pokemon.
Wild Pokemon Encounters
During the Pokemon Horizons: The Series event in Pokemon GO, the following Pokemon can be encountered in the wild.
Featured Attack
All Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat that are caught will know a Featured Attack that is completely new to Pokemon GO.
Volt Tackle
Surprise Encounters
Trainers who take Snapshots during the event will potentially be rewarded with Snapshots that include both Pokemon and other characters from the Pokemon Horizons: The Series anime.
Event Egg Pool
The following Pokemon has the potential to hatch out of Eggs during the event period.
Once the event period has ended, Charcadet can only be hatched from 10KM Eggs.
Field Research Task Encounters
The following Pokemon will be potential rewards for completing Field Research Tasks that were obtained from PokeStops during the event period.
Event Raids
Trainers will be able to participate in the following Raids during the special event period.
Event Bonuses
The following Event Bonuses will be active for the duration of the event.
PokeStop Showcases
During the event period, various PokeStops will be hosting PokeStop Showcases where trainers can enter specific event-themed Pokemon to compete.
