Eastasiasoft have revealed new characters in a gameplay introduction trailer for the upcoming roguelike RPG Sea Horizon.

Sea Horizon gets a new trailer featuring three playable characters. First up is Dylan, a balanced character archetype who wields a sword and shield. Players can choose one of three classes when they begin their journey, with some classes having an Extra Skill. Dylan has classes Adventurer, Ultramarine and the Chef. The extra skill for Ultramarine is Sword Swing, while Chef has Shield Heal.

Next up s Lyya the Wanderer. Lyya is part of the beast race, concentrating on agility and dealing claw damage. She has three classes to offer Wanderer, Amber and Assassin. The extra skills come in the form of Beast Will for Wanderer, and Poison Fang for Assassin.

Lastly, we get introduced to Shilin the Priest. Her classes include Priest, Reddish Purpe and Pope. Extra skills are Flog for the Reddish Purple class, while Pope grants the extra skill, Bless. This archetype has spell-casting at her disposal as well as healing abilities too.

In case you missed it, the rogueliketurn-based RPGSea Horizon is releasing this month. Players will take on hexagon tile-based battles as they engage in fights using a deck of cards. The world begins shrouded and slowly unfolds with each move with procedurally generated maps. Face dungeons, fight monsters and loot riches. Both health and hunger also are factors for survival.

The game is currently in Early Access on Steam but will be launching alongside the Switch version this month. The full version will come with new playable characters and two new chapters plus an adventure mode. You can test your luck with an event which can have both good and bad results depending on your dice roll.

Sea Horizonwill be released on Switch on October 20th and leaving Steam Early Access on the same day. It will also be coming to further consoles PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One in 2023.
