Sledgehammer Games today dropped the full details for what players can expect out of Call of Duty: Vangaurd Season One.
While we already know what to expect from Warzone Pacific Season One, developer Sledgehammer Games has been pretty silent about what to expect on the multiplayer and Zombies front. Now, we have the details, and like Warzone Pacific, players will head to the Pacific during the first season.

Multiplayer is getting two new maps with the brand new medium-sized map Paradise, and Radar, which is a remake of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 map Dome. Fan favorite game mode Control will return within the launch window, and a second mystery mode returns during the season.
For the first time ever, players can earn new Perks and Lethals through free tiers on the Battle Pass. Serpentine is a Perk 1 perk and unlocked at Tier 21 that reduces all damage slightly while sprinting and more than a quarter while tactical sprinting. Intuition is also a Perk 1 perk that unlocks at Tier 44 and allows players to perceive threats before they round corners or enter buildings. Finally, at Tier 39 is the new Lethal, the Special Incendiary Grenade.

As with previous Battle Passes, players can unlock new weapons for free. The twist this time around is that there’s a new melee weapon to unlock through the Battle Pass. You can nab the Cooper Carbine assault rifle at Tier 15, the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle sniper at Tier 31, and the Sawtooth melee weapon at Tier 37. Two additional weapons (the Katana melee weapon and Welgun SMG) can be unlocked in-season by completing a challenge or purchasing a Blueprint.
Skipping over to Zombies, Season One, unfortunately, does not contain a new Round Based map. It does feature a new Objective called Purge, new Covenant upgrades, and new career and seasonal challenges. After the new year, expect other features including the Tome of Rituals to upgrade artifacts, a new area to explore, and the implementation of support killstreaks.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC. PS4, and Xbox One. Season One kicks off December 8.
