You can find Intel all over the place in Star Wars Outlaws, but it won’t always mark new locations on your map. Sometimes, rumors and leads will only give you vague hints about the locations of items and resources, leaving you on your own to discover secret locations on each planet throughout the galaxy. The Smuggler’s Hideout is one of the earliest instances of this.

Where to find the Smuggler’s Hideout in Star Wars Outlaws

You canfind Intel regarding the Smuggler’s Hideouton a data pad inCrimson Dawn territory in Miroganaon Toshara, the first planet in the game. It tells you that there’s a Smuggler’s Hideout in a mountain southwest of Typhon’s Rock, but where exactly do you need to go?

As the Intel suggests, the Smuggler’s Hideout is locatedsouthwest of Typhon’s Rock. The Typhon’s Rock landmark is located inThe Lost Stepperegion of Toshara, west ofMiroganaand just a short speeder ride southeast of Jaunta’s Hope.

Star Wars Outlaws Smuggler’s Hideout Location

Make your way to Typhon’s Rock and then head off the road to the southwest to find a smallmountain with speeder paths cutting through it. You’ll know you’re in the right place if you seemetal plates on the floor and light polesstrewn about the caverns. you may see the exact location of the cave on the map below.

You can find a few resources inside the cave, but the real treasure can be found hidden along a path near the top of the mountain. There are multiple paths to the top, so justfollow the metal grates on the ground and keep climbing. Eventually, you’ll find asmall chest buried in an alcovealong the path at the top of the mountain.

Star Wars Outlaws Smuggler’s Cache 52

This chest isSmuggler Cache 52, which is what the Smuggler’s Hideout Intel was directing you to all along. Inside, you’ll find a bunch of Credits and somerare upgrade materials.Pro tip: It’s much easier to find this chest (and any hidden Smuggler Caches) at nightsince there are usually lights to help guide you.

Unfortunately, there seems to be abug involving Smuggler Cache 52where theSmuggler’s Hideout Intel will not be marked as completeafter opening the chest. While all of our PC Invasion writers have collected this Smuggler Cache, the Intel is still active in some of our quest logs. It’s frustrating, but at least you can rest knowing that you’re not going crazy if you can’t get the Smuggler’s Hideout marked off your Intel list. A future patch will inevitably fix this.

This isn’t the only instance of unmarked Intel in Star Wars Outlaws, so be prepared to search all over Toshara and other planets to find hidden chests tucked away in random spots. TheCrashed Speeder Intelis another example of a quest that’s driving players mad, for example.
