There are many new subquests in the Shattered Space expansion forStarfieldwith one finding players accidentally aiding in a duel between two arguing brothers. Here is a complete walkthrough of The Duel mission in Starfield Shattered Space.
The Duel Walkthrough in Starfield Shattered Space
Players walking by the giant statue in the city of Dazra during theShattered Space expansionwill come across two brothers arguing. Butting into the conversation will escalate the argumentinto a full-blown duel,and players will help aid in the duel.
First, you will speak to Danika Hagan, who will tell you to talk to both of the brothers and see if you’re able to persuade them to stand down.Talking toBorhal Adlamwill not change anything, and he wants to go through with the duel.
Talking toAmila Adlamwill shed some more light on the situation between the two brothers, but they will still go through the duel. You can even persuade him to stop, but even a successful persuasion check will not change his mind.
Danika will then tell you that you are responsible for preparing the ceremonial drinks before the duel and suggestsputting tranquilizers in the drinksto stop the brothers. She then gives you the tranquilizers and the choice of which brother to drug.
Which Brother to Tranquilize in the Duel
Players are given four options with the tranquilizers:Tranquilize Amila, Tranquilize Borhal, Tranquilize Both, and Tranquilize Nobody. The choice will determine who wins and your reward afterward.
Tranquilizing either of the brothers will cause the non-drugged brother to win the duel and reward with5,000 Credits and 200 XP. Tranquilizing nobody will cause Borhal to kill Amila and give the same reward.
Tranquilizing both will cause both brothers to not go through the duel as they cannot, and will reward you with4,000 XP and 300 XP. The difference in rewards is minimal, and there is no follow-up to the brothers after this quest.
