A new trailer has been released for the upcoming real-time strategy game The Valiant.
The Valiant an RTS Game with RPG Elements Gets New Trailer
Publisher THQ Nordic and developer KITE Games have a new trailer the medieval RTS game The Valiant. This trailer focuses on the co-op challenge game mode called “Last Man Standing”.
Here players will be pitting their heroes abilities and talents to the test. Players will need to defend themselves against enemies' special attacks and will need to keep their comrades alive. One piece of advice is that “defeat is only temporary for the valiant”, as well as to use the items drops in-game “strategically to your advantage to conquer your foes”. As the mode suggests it’s the last man standing that wins.
In case you missed it The Valiant is a medieval RTS game which also includes RPG elements. It follows the tale of Theoderich von Akenburg, formally a crusader knight who starts to question things after experiencing the cruelty of war. He’s called back into action after some events that took place 15 years ago. Joining his brother-in-arms Ulrich von Grevel they come across a piece of an ancient artifact, the Rod of Aaron. Joining the group is a young Monk called Malcolm who warns that the Rod contains a power that is dangerous to mankind. Ulrich then becomes fascinated with finding the missing pieces, which could bring about the world’s suffering.
Valiant focuses on squad-based strategy, where you will move a range of units into battle. The game has 15 different single-player missions each with custom cinematics, narrated journals, difficulty levels and more. Squads have three different skill trees, a large array of weapons and gear to choose from found in campaigns. Lots of customisation when it comes to hero builds.
The Valiantwill be coming to PC on October 19th 2022.
