‘Roses are Red. Violets are Blue. Sweet extras you’ll find on this slasher film for you!’ Revenge is sweet, just like Valentine’s Day chocolates. At least, that is what a vengeful, Cupid-masked killer thinks.Be my Valentine… or else. Broken hearts and other mortal wounds await a cast of contemporary young stars when they play dating-scene veterans dying for love in this humor-laced, twist-filled thriller cleverly directed by Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend) and starring David Boreanaz (Angel,Bones), Denise Richards (Starship Troopers), Marley Shelton (Scream 4,Planet Terror), Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy) and more. Cards, candy and flowers are nice. But for fans of stalker-shocker terror, there’s nothing like a Valentine.

Many may have forgottenValentine, as it came out in the new wave of self-conscious horror ushered in byScreamin the late 90s. The movie actually has somewhat of a bad reputation, andKatherine Heiglhas said that she regrets the entire experience. She only had three days to shoot her scenes, as she was committed to her TV show at the time,Roswell. The actress didn’t read the entire screenplay before jumping on board, and in later interviews admits that she definitely should have.

TheValentinetheatrical trailers will be included in the release, which were unique for their time, and still a rarity today as they are some of the few trailers to ever include a female narrator. You can check out the trailer for the film here.
