Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Delayed to Later in 2020
The sequel was meant to launch early 2020 but astatementreleased by developer Hardsuit Labs' Andy Kipling and Brian Mitsoda, releasing the news that the game will launch later on in 2020 in order to avoid repeating history.
We need some more time to get you the game you’ve been waiting for. Although Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will still launch in 2020, we have decided to value quality over making the Q1 launch window.

According to developer, the first game had the issue of being “famously launched too early”. Delaying the sequel will give them time to polish Bloodlines 2 and avoid the technical issues that came with the first.
Over the last few months, it became clear that to stick to our original date would risk repeating that mistake.
