Violent Nightpromises to be a coal-dark holiday thriller as it finds Harbour’s Santa reaching into his sack and bringing out the big guns. InViolent Night, a team of elite mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage. But the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (Harbour) is on the grounds,and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.

David Harbour Has Several Major Releases on the Horizon
As well as giving audiences the sort of Santa they have always wanted to see, David Harbour has several other major releases on the horizon. The actor, who has become a sought-after star thanks to his role as Sheriff Jim Hopper in the hugely popular Netflix seriesStranger Things, will first train a teenager with a penchant for racing in the upcoming adaption of the video gameGran Turismo. Directed by Neill Blomkamp and due for release on June 09, 2025,Gran Turismois based on a true story, and follows a teenageGran Turismoplayer who applies their skills to competitions the world over on the road to becoming a real race car driver.
Harbour will also return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reprise the role of Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian inThunderbolts. Joined by Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker aka U.S. Agent, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster,Thunderboltsis scheduled to be released on June 20, 2025 as part of Phase 5.
