For one reason or another, audio visualizers seem to be a popular add-on amongmusic-enjoying jailbreakers.
A bevy ofjailbreak tweakshave brought this functionality to the iOS platform in one capacity or another, but we’re particularly excited to go hands-on with a new release dubbedVisualyserby iOS developerXyaman.

As you’re about to see in the screenshot example below, Visualyser puts an aesthetically satisfying audio visualizer in theStatus Bar, either where the time or the cellular signal strength indicator would be (take your pick):
At first glance, the audio visualizer looks like a cellular signal strength indicator on steroids. But after you start listening to your favorite track, you’ll quickly come to realize that the bars move with your music playback and not with the strength of your cellular signal.

Visualyser is configurable, and once installed, users will find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where they can configure the tweak to their liking:
Options here include:
Compared to most audio visualizers, I particularly like Visualyser because it can be seen from anywhere in iOS (due to lurking in the Status Bar) and because it’s minimalistic.
Those who’d like to give Visualyser a try candownload the tweak for free from Xyaman’s personal repositoryvia their favorite package manager app. The tweak supportsjailbrokeniOS 14 devices and is open source on the developer’s GitHub page.
If you’re not already using Xyaman’s repository, then you can add it to your package manager with the following URL:
