Games Workshop is adamant to take over Apple’s iOS platform by storm. ItsWarhammer Questfor the iPhone and iPadwas released earlier this year to generally positive reviews(read Lory’s take).
But moreWarhammer-branded games are scheduled for release on iOS devices in the upcoming months.

Back in August, they announcedWarhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, a new title coming to the App Store in 2014. And now, another upcomingWarhammeriOS game has been announced, calledWarhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance.
BothStorm of VengeanceandSpace Wolfare due in 2014 and feature a selection of characters from theWarhammer 40,000universe.Space Wolf, developed by Hero Craft, is a free-to-play, turn-based tactical combat game.

As forStorm of Vengeance, it’s being developed by Eutechnyx of theNinja Cats vs Samurai Dogsfame and tells the story of “a pivotal moment in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the legendary planetary conflict on Piscina IV,”according to a recent press release.

Pitched as a lane strategy game set in the dark, gothic universe ofWarhammer 40,000, Games Workshop says thatStorm of Vengeancefeatures two of its most cherished characters, Grand Master Belial and Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka.
Storm of Vengeance offers the player the chance to command the tenacious defence of the planet with only 100 Dark Angel Space Marines, or attempt it’s annihilation using the cunning of the Ork Waaagh! and their telly-porta technology.

The game is due for release on PC and mobile devices in the first quarter of 2014.
As forSpace Wolf, this free to play turn-based tactical combat game is based on the collectible cards concept (see the image above and screenies below), spiced up with a bunch of 3D characters set in theWarhammer 40,000universe.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will be a new turn-based tactical combat video game, using collectible cards to drive the on-screen actions of the 3D characters.
From what can be gleaned from the official press materials,Space Wolfwill challenge you to command a pack of Space Wolves and lead them to fight their intergalactic adversaries. Based on customizable decks of cards, you’ll be able to unlock new weapons, tactics, bonuses and other perks allowing you to boost your team’s stats.
The screenshots look promising.
