Season 15, Eclipse, launched on July 12, 2025, alongside anew seasonal battle pass. As has become typical, the battle pass’ countdown timer tells us when the current season will end and the subsequent one will begin.

For starters, Apex Legends Season 16 is breaking the trend of a typical major patch by not including a new Legend.Respawn devs have revealedthat this decision was made in order to make a shift from the “predictable” updates and instead focus on refining the abilities of the legends they already have on the roster.
Despite no new face in the Outlands, the powerfulNemesis AR weapon will be arriving on the groundto rival the Flatline and R-301. Not only that, a fresh6v6 Team Deathmatch game modeis being added that tasks teams with racking up 30 kills to win a round.
Another huge addition is theFiring Range overhaul, which aims to improve the arena by adding infinite ammo, dynamic stats, and better dummy targets.
Finally, thefan-favorite Mirage Voyage POIwill also be making a return but this time, it’s going to be on every map. This means if you’re looking for a chaotic start and plenty of high-tier loot, it may be the best place for you to land.
