While you want to avoid lowering the quality of items and risking unsatisfied customers, it might be unavoidable if you have to rush an order. Similarly, a lack of time can be the reason you don’t put in the extra effort required to improve item quality, and instead sell it in its standard state.

If you have the time to spare, you may use the drying rack toincrease the quality of weed or coca leaves. Different tiers of quality require different amounts of time, so you can bring up your products by one tier if you don’t feel like waiting until you reach the highest tier.
Getting the Drying Rack
After you gain access to the warehouse that’s by the pawn shop, you can speak to the merchant inside and purchase a drying rack if you’ve reached the Hustler ranks. Once you have it, go set it up where you plan to use it. Then, you can interact with it using “E,” which brings up the input menu you’re used to at this point. The difference is that when you add items to the input section, you thenneed to hit the “Dry” buttonabove it to place the items on the rack to start drying.
Using the Drying Rack
From here, you can load in the next set of items and check the time it takes for the current items to reach the next tier of quality. When the items reach heavenly quality—the highest possible quality—they automatically pop off the rack and into the output section for you to collect.
You canonly dry one stack of items at a time, so you might want to get multiple racks if it’s something you want to do for every product before mixing and packaging. It’s generally worth the extra time to put items on the drying rack and let them increase in quality, as you can then sell them for more money and have more satisfied customers. Additionally, once you have a good system set up, the time it takes to get items to heavenly quality doesn’t impact your supply line in Schedule 1.
