Over 8 films, the young actors literally grew up on set and formed a close bond not just with each other, but also with the various actors in the ensemble which included many reputed stars. Radcliffe was so enamored with one accomplished actor that he even wrote her a love letter at the end of filming.

One of the celebrities who impressed with her performance was the always solidHelena Bonham Carterwho portrayed the chilling andsadistic Bellatrix Lestrangein the films. While the character is a major nemesis for Harry Potter, Radcliffe in reality, had the complete opposite reaction to the actor.

In theHarry Potter20th anniversary special that aired on HBO (viaPeople), the star revealed the massive crush he had onThe Crownstar who is 23 years older to him. His admiration for Carter even led him to write her a sweet love letter at the end of the filming, which the actor read out in front of her during the television special.
“Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your co-star and coaster in the sense that I always ended up holding your coffee. I do love you, and I just wish I had been born 10 years earlier. I might [have had] a chance. Lots of love and thanks for being cool.”

Carter for her part, made the lovely moment even more endearing (viaPeople) by encouraging a shy Radcliffe to continue reading his words of admiration for her. This turned out to be one of the sweetest moments in theHarry Potterspecial.
Alan Rickman Pulled An Epic Prank On Daniel Radcliffe
With a huge ensemble cast that worked together constantly over eight films, the sets ofHarry Potterwas always buzzing not only with work, but also with a lot of lighthearted play that ended up turning into wonderful memories for everyone.
WhileDaniel Radcliffewas responsible for initiating a lot of pranks on set, he got a taste of his own medicine from none other than the late Alan Rickman, aka Professor Snape, who always had a bone to pick with him in the films. Explaining the details of Rickman’s brutal takedown, Radcliffe said during aRedditAMA,

“There’s – in the 3rd film – there’s a shot in the great hall of all the kids sleeping in the great hall, and the camera starts very very wide, and comes in so that it’s an inch from my face, a very long developing set, yeah, and Alan Rickman decided he would plant one of those fart machines in my, uh, sleeping bag, and they waited until like -the camera had come in for this huge DRAMATIC developing shot, and then unleashed this tremendous noise in the great hall,”
