Woochi the Wayfarer: A New Korean Fantasy Adventure is Coming

According to the official description, Woochi the Wayfarer follows the misadventures ofDosa, “The Road Mage” Jeon Woochi. Nexon Games’ CEO explains:
“Woochi the Wayfarer will offer a fresh and unique gameplay experience based on traditional Korean elements while resonating emotionally with players worldwide. We aim to tell an amazing story that fully showcases our development capabilities and accumulated experience.”
Built inUnreal Engine 5, the game promises vivid, next-gen visuals and an original story inspired by theclassic Korean novel “The Tale of Jeon Woochi”, the tale of a trickster hero who uses his powers to fight injustice and outwit the corrupt.
Immersive Single-Player Narrative
This will be asingle-player narrative experience, deeply immersive, mixing magical settings, Korean monsters, and traditional music.
The trailer teasesmystery and tensionwith the image ofMyoan, a shaman chanting a spell, contrasted with Woochi’s silhouette in a dense forest.
The soundtrack, composed byJung Jae-il(known forParasiteandSquid Game), blends emotional melodies with traditional Korean music, enhancing the game’s cultural authenticity.
