Nintendo has released some new images featuring the ocean in upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Gets New Look at Ocean Location
Next week will be the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Nintendo aren’t letting you forget, as they tease more stunning locations for the upcoming JPRG. The latest batch of images previews the new world, this time featuring an ocean location in Aionios.
Getting a sneak peek at the ocean location before in previous footage, now the JP Twitter account is making sure fans don’t miss this stunning place. The images show the shore, a floating sky structure, aquatic life and rocky sea formations. This area is called the Erythia Sea, teased as “difficult to swim around” and the mode of transport to explore the area seems to be by boat. That floating structure mentioned before is apparently a boat.

Previously in aNintendo Direct, we got a look at the world of Aionius which features two nations Keves and Agnus. What’s unusual about this world is that the people who inhabit it only seem to have a life span of up to 10 years. The world is war-torn, but still full of life with its diverse flora and fauna. Combat also features melee and a big dose of mystic arts with chainable combos.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3will release globally on August 06, 2025, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. Excited about XC3? Find out why it made ourTop 5 list for Julyas well as other RPG releases of the month.
